An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
There are 4 fixed term positions available, 3 in mainstream, 1 in Special Education, 1 10 hour EAL post, this is subject to change at the determination of the principal.
St. Patrick's GNS is a Catholic School. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate certificate to teach the Catholic Religious Education.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of teaching in a DEIS school
Teaching children with a range of additional needs
Confidence in integrating digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning
Music or Sport or other extra curricular activities that contribute positively to school life
