An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position will involve working closely with the class teacher and other school staff to support children with additional needs. It may involve working with one or more children during the school day.
Experience working with pupils with additional needs is desirable. The successful candidate must demonstrate a calm, kind, empathetic and patient approach. Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills are essential, along with a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with NCSE RELATE is desirable.
The successful applicant will be professional, trustworthy, confidential and passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where every child can thrive.
