An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Christ The King BNS is a mainstream school with 2 special classes. We foster a nurturing environment for our whole school community. Collaborative teaching and working is fundamental to CTK BNS.
We have a number of children who have additional learning needs and who need carefully personalised learning opportunities. We are looking for teachers who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. Each mainstream class is supported with an SNA who works closely with the class teacher in supporting our SEN students.
Our staff team is friendly and welcoming, supporting one another, sharing good practice and working together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our children. We are looking for teachers who are energetic, innovative and enthusiastic and can contribute to our team, working on their own initiative and willing to go the extra mile.
Overview of Vacancies:
1) 3 fixed term positions for 2026-2027. Posts will be based in mainstream.
2) Applicants must be flexible and have the ability to work as part of a team.
3) Experience of DEIS is an advantage. Applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to DEIS approaches and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students in our school.
4) Excellent planning and organisation skills required.
