Additional Information:
The Bus/Taxi Escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs as follows:
Assisting the children in and out of the taxi
Securing appropriate seatbelts and car seats
Liaising with taxi/bus drivers, parents and teachers in a professional manner
Communicating around pick ups and drop offs / traffic delays etc...
Experience of working with children is desirable.
Appointment of the successful candidate is subject to Garda Vetting and appropriate reference checks.
Salary is at the rate of €15.98 per hour (in line with the Department of Education guidelines for this position which is subject to change).
The positions are for collection of children each morning from their home, to be in school for 8.50am and collected at school again at 1.30pm or 2.30pm for the return journey home. Up to 15-25 hours per week depending on the taxi/bus route available.
