An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is an exceptional temporary post of 0.6 hours for the school year 2026/2027.
St. Christopher's Special School caters for pupils aged 4 years to 18 years with a Moderate General Disability, pupils with a Severe/Profound General Learning Disability and pupils with Autism. Many pupils have additional complex needs and /or multiple disabilities and medical needs. Experience working with pupils with Autism and in a Special School setting is an advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competence in the use of AAC Devices. Experience working with pupils who display behaviours of concern is highly desirable.
