An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St John of God Primary School, (known locally as The Faythe School) will have a team of 10 mainstream class teacher, 2 special class teachers, 7.7 SET/Language Teachers and 10 SNAs for August 2026. We are opening our 2nd ASD Class.
There are 2 positions available, which are subject to NCSE Review.
They are as follows;
Position 1: 0.83 post
Position 2: 0.75 post
Please include all relevant qualifications and training you may have undertaken as well as experience you have.
Experience with Autism, Downs Syndrome and medical needs is desirable.
Appointments will be subject to Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health screening.
