An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Mark's Senior N.S is a Catholic ethos school which promotes and aids child-centred lifelong and life-wide learning - academic engagement, spiritual awareness, well-being recognition, relationship building, arts and digital competencies and environmental and civic citizenship.

All applications must include ‘SNA Fixed Term Application’ in the email subject line.
Closing date is Monday 6th July at 5pm. Interviews may take place during the week of the 6th July 2026.

There are 1.5 fixed-term vacant positions available.
The NCSE have also allocated an additional 0.5 temporary SNA position from 1st September 2026 to 18th December 2026. Pending NCSE approval, this additional 0.5 temporary SNA position may be available for Term 2 and Term 3.

Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a collaborative whole-school team, and be committed to ongoing professional upskilling during allocated Learning and Development Time. Candidates need to display the capability to provide high-quality support to meet the core care needs of students with special educational needs, facilitating their full attendance, participation, and inclusion in school life.
