St Patrick's NS, Edmonton is a (vertical co-educational) school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Meath, Dr. Tom Deenihan. The school seeks to appoint an Administrative/Teaching Principal beginning on the 1st of September 2026.
The present teaching staff comprises 1 Teaching Principal, 3 Class Teachers and 2 SETs. The school has 0 special classes for children with additional needs.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong inter-personal skills that are required to lead and maintain a happy, active, and progressive school community. A commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school is essential. Likewise, fostering links with the wider community is desirable.

Candidates should have current and continuing Teaching Council registration and show evidence of and commitment to ongoing Professional Development. They must have an in-depth knowledge and experience of SEN, EAL and managing special classes.
The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
