The Board of Management of Scoil Padraig Naofa, Esker. invites applications for the position of Principal Teacher.
Scoil Padraig Naofa, Esker, is a co-educational Primary School Catholic School under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Clonfert.
The school has three full time class teachers, one full time SET and one part time SET, three full time SNA's, a part time secretary and part time cleaner.
The roles and responsibilities of this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management as specified in Circular 0044/2019.
1. Leader Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity
Applicants should;
-Demonstrate a commitment to supporting the Cathoilc ethos of the school.
-Have the leadership skills necessary for the role.
-Have a passion for teaching.
-Put the good of the children at the centre of decision making.
-Be open to engage with parents as partners in education.
-Have a knowledge of the functions of the Board of Management.
-Be willing to engage with the wider community for the good of the school.
-Display evidence of ongoing professional development.
-Be fully up to date with child protection procedures and policies.
-Have the ability to engage with colleagues in a professional and positive manner.
-Be able to engage correctly with the Patron and the Department of Education and Youth in school related matters.
