An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a part-time Special Needs Assistant position (0.5 post – Job Share arrangement – expected to work Thursdays, Fridays and alternative Wednesdays)
The successful candidate may be assigned to support pupils with a range of care and educational needs throughout the school, including mainstream classes and the school's special class, in accordance with the needs of the school.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of Children First on-line training and satisfactory references.
