Applications are invited for the position of Special Needs Assistant (SNA), This is a standard SNA contract, DES paid, in O'Connell Secondary School. Relevant experience of students with ASD is desirable.

Please submit a CV by 12:00pm, Friday, 24th of July 2026 to principal@oconnellschool.ie The CV should include: Qualifications, relevant competencies and experience and two references. Applications from SNAs on SNA panel must have panel form clearly attached. Shortlisting may apply and canvassing will disqualify. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. All applicants must provide up to date Garda Vetting. All hours and sanctions of post are subject to DES allocation and approval. Interviews are likely to be scheduled for the week of the 10th of August.
